Spencer Pratt: "He's Just Too Much". Understatement.
We've all been following with baited breath and great anticipation .. or really, we've been looking for other stories that are more interesting and haven't found any .. the drawn-out saga of Heidi and Spencer and their journey into Crazytown.
But now, apparently just us normal folks aren't the only one who've noticed that Spencer is a bit overly-dramatic and .. well, psychotic. His own parents have apparently stripped their house of his picture, says Us Weekly.
They openly admit that they've tried to side with him over the past few years of publicity stunts, general douchebaggery, and crystal-loving, but now they're just tired of it. His self-imposed estrangement from his sister, Stephanie (also on the show, didn't help matters, either.
Look.. I'm the first to admit that this guy is a genuine douche-canoe. Any guy who openly calls a mother "just a vagina" and "not God" is obviously dealing with some issues. But when the entire family turns their back? I actually .. Jeebus help me, I kind of PITY him.
Heidi is no companion. There's little there other than silicone and plastic. And he's chased away all of his friends, or at least the ones that will come to his defense in the media. That makes me just very, very sad.
Because I want to believe that there's some magic to those crystals. I mean, LOOK at him with those crystals. I want them to be working just one little bit for him.
. . . . .
Sarah Lena does not condone douche-canoe behavior.

Perhaps people should stop reporting on them. Like in the Simpsons Treehouse of Horror VI... If we stop looking, they will go away.
To stop those monsters 1-2-3,
Here's a fresh new way that's trouble-free,
It's got Paul Anka's guarantee...
Guarantee void in Tennessee.
Just don't look! Just don't look!

I cannot muster an ounce of pity or sympathy for him. Regardless of the company he is keeping (Heidi), or that his family seems to be done w/ him, he is the one deliberately orchestrating his environment. And I don't even think he cares. And at some point, families have the "this is enough" moment and have to pull away - self-preservation and all. Like they would for an addict - except this tool is addicted to is fame/TMZ/exposure of any kind. I'm surprised this didn't come sooner.
I would maybe feel some pity for the guy if he was dealing with substance abuse and his family was pulling away.
Cosby has a quote about coke use that seems to fit here: "I said to a guy, "Tell me, what is it about cocaine that makes it so wonderful," and he said, "Because it intensifies your personality." I said, "Yes, but what if you're an asshole?"
I think this perfectly explains the Spencer + fame thing. He was a dickwad before all this, and now...well..you see my point.

Pity this guy? Aw, hell no! He brought ALL OF IT on himself.

I think his shirt cancels out any possible healing power from the crystals. That must be a vintage Horde tour number.

I pity him the way I pity people who need to be in therapy and on meds for bipolar.
