Alanis Morisette Marries Rapper Souleye
Yes, '90s children, forget that engagement to Ryan Reynolds and ancient fling with Full House actor Dave Coulier. Alanis Morrisette has moved on and gotten herself married to a tall, blue-eyed rapper named Souleye.
Well, his name is actually Mario Treadway. Details, details. Alanis, 36, married the 30-year-old musician (about whom I have never heard. Have you?) on May 22 at home in California, but just announced it this week. She shared the news on Twitter, of course, and also Facebook:
"Hi guys! So happy to share with you that my man Souleye and I got married. We're very excited to embark on this journey with each other...sending love...connect soon xo - Alanis."
No word on whether it rained on her wedding day. (Har! Guess what? Not ironic!) But she looks happy, really, so that's cool.
And hopefully she'll never have to sing "You Oughta Know" and mean it again. Or really, just ever sing it again, because my land I hate that song.
I'm looking at you, Dave Coulier. Or I would, if I knew where you were.
Really? That was about you, Dave Coulier?
Souleye's next gig is supposedly at a county fair. May he know everything he oughta, and may Alanis too, for that matter. Best wishes to them both.
