Dancing With Vaguely Famous People

Earlier this week, ABC released the (totally unimpressive) roster of "stars" for the new season of Dancing With the Stars, which begins March 19. Seeing names like Ian Ziering (Beverly Hills 90210) and Laila Ali (female boxer and daughter of Muhammad Ali) on the list, I'm beginning to think the name of the show should be changed to Dancing With the People Who Were Famous 10 Years Ago, or Dancing With People Who Are Related to Stars.

If they can't deliver actual stars, the show could at least stop casting former boy band members (this season it's Joey Fatone) and athletes. Show us more clutzy famous people who are transformed into graceful, elegant ballroom dancers. Because that's quality television what we all want to see.
