Owen Wilson Is Back Home
Canceling his appearance at the Venice Film Festival didn't seem to bother any of his co-stars (he was supposed to be promoting The Darjeeling Limited), because after a rough week of attempted suicides, potential overdoses, and a stint in the hospital, Owen Wilson is back home with family. For more details, follow the jump.
Wes Anderson was taking his directorial duties seriously in Venice, but when asked about Wilson he immediately showed support for the close friend.
"We all miss having him here very much. Obviously he's been through a lot this week but he's doing well and he's been making us laugh a lot."
(Owen's brothers drove him home from the hospital)
Anderson went on to say, "When he is ready he's going to speak for himself much better than any of us could."
It's good to hear my favorite Frat Packer is back to doing what he does best: making us laugh. Here's to hoping his recovery is speedy on the inside as well.
