Comic "Female Force" Set to Feature Stephenie Meyer

Female_force_stephenie_meyer I think it's a brilliant idea.

Meyer will be inked into legend for the second time (including her own Twilight series) in the Female Force comic series, an exclusive honor whose past inductees include Princess Diana and Oprah.

The comic series tells the biographical journey of its subjects and uses this particular series to give its readers "a broad examination of strong and influential women who are shaping modern history and culture. Stephenie Meyer's comic book treatment will tell her story in a very fun, respectful, and unique way," says the publisher's president, Darren G. Davis.

But Meyer on the same level as Oprah? Oprah "YOU GET A CAR! YOU GET A CAR! YOU GET A CAR!" Winfrey?

I would agree, given that she's the American equivalent of J.K. Rowling and managed to write a book with as little T & A as possible that has ensnared the marketer's dream demographic of 13-54. Her casual literary mentions of "Claire de Lune" may have well propelled a new generation into Debussy appreciation; the same with Bronte, Austen, et al.

The story is said to be narrated by an "iconic vampire," one can only guess Edward.

(An aside: did anyone else think that Meyer was describing herself when detailing Bella's appearance? Heart-shaped face, hair, all of it? And that just maybe the story is some sort of alternate Meyer fantasy-reality? Every time I see her photo and its resemblance to her written description of Bella, I can't help but wonder.)

I love Twilight as much as the next girl (I swear, I don't have Edward!), but if you see the similarity between Stephenie and Bella, please read the following: http://www.the-editing-room.com/twilight.html

Funny, funny stuff!
