Sarah and Todd Palin to Divorce
According to numerous sources, including an elk and several reputable salmon, Sarah Palin is filing for divorce from Todd, her husband of 21 years.
Apparently due to "affairs on both sides" (God I hope that means by both parties), Sarah has "stopped wearing her wedding ring, bought land in Montana, and has no interest in reconciling with Todd".
Sarah tried to dismiss the rumors today issuing a statement to People magazine denying the divorce rumors as "fabricated". The news was first reported over the weekend by Alaska Report, the same outlet that broke the news of Sarah's campaign for governor as well as her being picked by McCain as the VP nominee. And any media source that feels "Anchorage's Best Fishing Hole" is front page news has my vote of confidence.
Inexplicably, within hours of the story breaking Saturday, Sarah's attorney Tom Van Flein sent Alaska Report an email "confirming some of the facts", but then on Sunday attempted to serve a blogger who republished the story with a Cease & Desist order (Oooh, I'm shaking in my waders).
Apparently divorce rumors have been swirling for some time. These were fueled by the fact that the Palins were noticeably not speaking to each other for most of last Sunday's resignation speech in Fairbanks. According to MSNBC Sarah ditched Todd right after the speech and left without him. Sarah removed her wedding ring a couple of weeks ago and is refusing to comment on why.
I think she'll be fine. I'm sure she has plenty of experience with being divorced since she can see divorced people from her house.
Not Sarah Palin

You know this is all the fault of The Gays. They destroyed the sanctity of the Palins' marriage. Just sayin'.

Didn't she learn anything from Hilary? If you want to run for president, you have to stay married. No matter how bad it is. Geesh! Some people are just dense.

"Affairs on both sides"? She had an affair, too? What is up with these pro-family people always having affairs? Crazy. I would just love it if one of them was a same-sex affair. Can I still pray for that even if I am an atheist? I am going to try.

Your aside on "affairs on both sides" had me rolling. Thank you.

So, wait, does this mean that Todd is available? 'Cause--hello--yummy.

If Bristol can do it alone, then so can grandmama. I sure am glad that the Palins believe in family values. Raising young children, esp one with special needs, while writing a book, giving speeches and running for office will be a snap.

Love you comment about "affairs on both sides". And, I'd like SP to get back in the spotlight only so I can see more impersonations by Tina Fey. Miss that.

If this is true, then it is very sad.
Just because you don't agree with someone politically doesn't mean you should be happy their marriage may be disintegrating.

If this is true, then it IS very sad. But also very awesome! I hear that the difference between a soccer mom and a pitbull is lipstick. Poor Todd Palin. Didn't he get that memo? Also, I really hope that Sarah understands that by choosing to move to Montana, she will no longer "know" the Russians. In the biblical sense.

How very true. Things can be sad and awesome at the same time! I find moral hypocrisy sad and awesome.
