Gossip Girl: Where Inter-Office Relationships Go To Die

Ed Westwick Jessica SzohrIt's going to be awkward at the office come Monday morning...

Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick has apparently dumped girlfriend and Gossip Girl co-star Jessica Szohr after, and I mean immediately after, hearing she might have possibly done something that perhaps was vaguely and/or completely uncouth with one of his friends.  Maybe.  Perhaps.  Possibly.  NEVERMIND ABOUT FACTS, JUST DUMP.

After hearing that his girlfriend and his best friend, some Marco dude, had flirted with each other and then were seen at the same hotel together, Ed broke up with Jessica over the phone.  Awesome.  No one burns Chuck and gets away with it.

Ed Westwick Jessica Szohr Of course, Jessica denies anything happened, as does this Marco fella.  Of course.  What are they going to say?  "Yeah, we did it.  What?"  But who knows what really happened.  Flirting in public with someone who isn't your high profile boyfriend and going to a hotel with them, behind closed doors, could lead to any number of innocent things, right?  Parcheesi, for one.  You could be watching CNN, for another.  Pranking the front desk for kicks.  It's unreasonable to assume the worst.

Leighton Meester Sebastian StanAnd in what can only be described as an Unbelievable Coincidence, Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester has also broken up with Gossip Girl co-star(ish) Sebastian Stan.  Wow.  Two in one day.

Leighton and Sebastian's break up seems to be less juicy.  Dammit.  Apparently Leighton just doesn't want to be in a relationship right now.  Fair enough.  Sebastian is crushed, but what's a boy to do?  Blair's gonna do what Blair's gonna do.

But what?  No cheating?  No alleged cheating?  No scandal?  Leighton, Leighton, Leighton.  Gossip Girl will be very disappointed.

norm

This comes as a surprise to me because I thought you people told me Ed Westwick was gay. OK then, moving on.
