Mr. T Is Not Pleased With The A-Team Movie

Mr_t_chains Mr. T, the best possible critic in this instance, has seen the new A-Team movie.  And he is not happy.

Says T, who played the iconic BA "Bad Attitude" Baracus on the original show:

"People die in the film and there's plenty of sex but when we did it, no one got hurt and it was all played for fun and family entertainment... These seem to be elements nobody is interested in anymore. It was too graphic for me. I've no doubt it will do big business at the box office but it's nothing like the show we turned out every week."

Sex and violence? That is definitely not what the original A-Team was about.  The A-Team were unequivocal good guys who pulled up into a new town every week, helped young women just trying to keep the farm going, and topped off the action with an improvised cannon that shot cabbages or two-by-fours.  Those guys could make anything out of random farm equipment.

More to the point, no one ever dies in the A-Team. They followed the laws of robotics as summarized by C-3P0: They did not harm, or by course of action cause harm, to human beings.  Sure, they broke through a lot of plywood sets and overturned a lot of jeeps, but it was all in good fun.
