You may know you're getting up in years when the music that had a major impact on your generation and your own little life is deemed historically significant.

The first concert I ever saw live was Bon Jovi and Cinderella at the Bayfront Center in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1987. At that point in my life it was by far the coolest thing I had ever seen. When my 15 year old self saw Jon Bon Jovi strut out in the same jacket he wore in the "Livin' on a Prayer" video I thought I was going to pass out. I screamed like it was the Beatles. I knew then that I could die happy.
Punky Brewster was one of my favorite shows on the teevee when I was but a wee gal. I liked Punky's spunk, but she wasn't my favorite (officially, that was Brandon). I preferred Punky's BFF Cherie Johnson, who, in my opinion, stole the show. She was cute, sassy and smart, and she was the reason I wore headbands around my forehead. I got pushed on the playground for that.
We always hear about Punky. Punky this, Punky that. I don't want to hear about Punky. What happened to Cherie?

There is this French actress, see? And I saw a picture of her sometime this last week in which she was looking so freaking cool and like I should completely fall in love with her in a totally devoted but non-creepy way.
Shut up. I'm not creepy.
And so I asked Who is that woman?, and I was told that it was none other than Delphine Chanéac from the movie Splice, and so I decided to devote today to her beautiful visage, because it is important to have beautiful things to look at.
So the 2010 Tonys are come and gone, and there were SERIOUS Win/Fail moments. Let's go through the show and see what brought the noise, and what just brought the funk. (That was a terrible joke, I apologize.)
If you thought the crown should go to Betty White, what with all the Betty White love-o-palooza happening these days, you'd be wrong. Tina Fey, ladies and gentlemen. Tina Fey. Yeah, suck it, nerds.

The seventh season of So You Think You Can Dance is wrought with changes. This season, which begins on May 27th, will be an All-Star version and there are a couple of flashy new judges, replacing one of our old favourites.
