Can I call you Andy? Will you rant on 60 Minutes for five minutes about how the "kids these days" don't have any respect for their elders? I would love it if you'd rant about me, can we make this happen?

A Double Serving of Serving Done Right!

PattonoswaltPlagiarism is infuriating, especially for writers who spend hour upon hour honing each word, each sentence, to fit just so.  It makes sense, but it turns out it's equally as infuriating for comedians who have been plagiarized, as the recent Patton Oswalt incident illustrates.  And because Oswalt is a comedian and hilarious even when he's not on stage, he calls out his hacker publicly and with a lesson to the young plagiarist: if you're not funny to begin with, stealing won't help.

Tim And Eric Awesome Show Great Job! Season Cinco

Te_heads I have decided to take a break from my usual American Idol Recap this week. Partly because the show has sucked since Ellen arrived but more importantly, so I can bring you a special announcement. The best show in the history of television is back for its fifth season and this makes me very happy.

The Amazing Race is Two Episodes In, but There's One Reason to Start Watching

The Amazing Race_Season 16 I meant to talk about The Amazing Race when The Amazing Race aired last Sunday (because that would make sense), but then I didn't for various uninteresting reasons. Better late than never? Maybe? Anyway, The Amazing Race is the perfect reality show (besides having the perfect host), if you ask me. It has all the drama and cat fights and backstabbing we've come to expect from a must-watch reality program but it manages to avoid being too trashy. It also shows us some incredibly (and often surprisingly) beautiful parts of the world. I've added Lithuania, Argentina, Chile and Croatia to my must-visit list all because of this show. But why else should you tune in, this season in particular?

The Wild Hunt Glamorizes Vikings. Role-Players.

The_wild_hunt_movie_larp-266x300  I just saw the trailer for The Wild Hunt, an independent film directed b Alexandre Franchi that debuted at the Santa Barbara Film Festival, and now I'm so confused about my feelings that I may have to go see a therapist and try and figure out which one of my parents damaged my id in early development. I think it's about a LARP (Live Action Role Playing) excursion that goes horribly wrong, or maybe its about time-travelers who go back to Viking times. Or maybe it's about sexual assault, because there seems to be some of that in there too. Either way, I'm just going to go sit in the corner for a little bit and hug myself.
