Remember when you had that friend in high school that you really adored, so you spent every waking second together? Eventually, you spent so much with her that you got sick of each other and, before you knew it, you had the uncontrollable urge to throw your best friend in the whole world through a plate glass window, am I right? Well, I'm starting to feel that way about Lady Gaga.
Who'd have thunk it? Either I am getting old or pop culture just keeps getting weirder and weirder.
Ah, Lady Gaga: the most shocking semi-androgyne to ever break out of the usual pop star mold while almost never wearing any pants. Oh, wait, that's not right. Wasn't there someone else? There was!
Who has been recording music since 1977? Who hung out with the likes of Brian Eno and played a muse to Andy Warhol? Who delved into the insanity of gonzo fashion when Gaga was not yet even born? Who has a film career that spans four decades? Who frightened me as a child with her segmented head on her 1985 "Slave to the Rhythm" album cover?
Grace Jones.
Lady Gaga seems to have it now, but Grace Jones had it first. The question is, who really has it?

I think maybe this little monster needs to take a B-R-E-A-K. This is not the first time Gaga has collapsed due to exhaustion (and I do believe that's what it is, rather than the typical celebrity "exhaustion;" read: DRUGSDRUGSDRUGS).

Lady Gaga has been in London for the funeral of Alexander McQueen, and was caught by photogs last night leaving a restaurant in a rather interesting headpiece (I say that as though anything Gaga wears is uninteresting):
Snooki and JWOWW of Jersery Shore fame only WISH they could rightfully lay claim to the high status of guidette (pronounced gwee-dett), but they cannot.
Why? JWOWW let it slip on an episode of FoxNews.com's The Strategy Room that neither she nor Snooki are even Italian, as they would have had us believe with all their proud guidette posturing on MTV over the past many months. It seems that the inflati-boobs, the Bump-Its, and the New Jersey high life were just too alluring for these two non-Italians to pass up.
Last night at the BRIT Awards, Lady Gaga decided to moon all of us for a really long time.
