I don't know if you've heard, but they've made that old tv show The A-Team into a movie!  I mean, there hasn't been much press on this little film, but after some intense research, I've dug up a thing or two about it.

$#*! My Dad Says, which is apparently pronounced "Bleep My Dad Says," the sitcom based on the wildly popular and hilarious Twitter account (typing that sentence still makes my brain hurt) is slated to premier this fall. Fans of the Twitter account are still uneasy about the network TV adaptation, but perhaps the recently released trailer will put their minds at ease a little.

The new season of True Blood will begin in 12 days and about 10 hours. Not that I'm counting or anything...

With Toy Story 3 set to be released on June 18th, Disney/Pixar would like to introduce us to Ken.  Barbie's longtime arm candy, Ken gives us a tour of his Dream House, followed by an in-depth, emotionally revealing, interview. 

Babies are awesome. And a movie called Babies that opened earlier this month sets out to show us why, worldwide. 

Oliver Stone's sequel to his 1987 classic Wall Street doesn't come out until September, but reviews are starting to trickle in and they're kind of encouraging.

Film/theatre/literature/feminism nerds rejoice! Julie Taymor is adapting William Shakespeare's The Tempest for the screen.

One of the best parts of the Quentin Tarantino/Robert Rodriguez double feature Grindhouse was the fake trailers that played in between Planet Terror and Death Proof. And of those trailers, Machete stood out for being so over the top and awesome.

World?  Meet Dren.  Dren?  Meet the World.  Now, watch out World.  Dren will eat your face.  Or something.  Something scary and super creepy involving squirrelly noises and weird eyes and a spikey, unpredictable tail.

My family and I go to the movies a fair amount, usually at least once a month. And I'm one of those people who actually likes the 20 minutes of trailers that play before the movie. I like seeing what's going to be coming out so that I can say, "Ohh, that looks good, we'll have to see that," or mercilessly snark on it, a la Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Next Friday, April 30, Brendan Fraser's new movie, Furry Vengeance, premieres. If your first thought upon hearing this news was, "I don't know that America is ready for anthropomorphic lovin' and fightin'. Especially not if Brendan Fraser is sporting a fuzzy tail," you're not alone. 

I can't believe I haven't seen this movie -- "Troll 2" -- which is apparently so horrendously bad a specimen of B-Moviedom that a documentary has been made in honor of its epic, unprecedented awful.

I can't wait to see it, of course.
